Skiing tuition: Tuition is available in English from
Ecole du Ski Francais

Ski hire: If you are not bringing our own equipment, ski and boot hire is available at numerous locations. If you book your skis or boards in advance you get a better choice of equipment.

Randonee trips for beginners are also available by arrangement - weather permitting.

You can also explore the Abondance valley on cross country skis along routes linking the villages of La Chapelle and Abondance.

For non-skiers, there are weekly markets in the three main resorts in the valley - Abondance, La Chapelle and chatel.
